Seriously. I sweat just walking out of the house and no amount of dry shampoo is going to make my hair look decent.

you have to sprinkle it just on the roots. then run your fingers through the roots. that’s how i’ve been doing it, anyway. it’s probably wrong.

one of the best ways to use it is the night before, it makes your hair way way less ick when you wake up

What is this? Are we going to do this thing where we pretend this lady is now someone we must keep up with? Why? Can we not? Let her fade into the ether. No one cares about thirsty Becky or her hair.

I guess it’s the true cynic in me showing, but it amazes me how guillible the public is with this Lemonade -ish. With Jay-Z’s support, Ms. B is playing the public like the true PR puppetmaster she is. Milking his $uppo$ed cheating for all it is worth. She knows full well she’ll have the full $upport of the Hive, gaining $ympathy for $taying $trong throughout this cheating $candal.

This is NOT the 1st time she’s had people write her a hit song about cheating. Not addressing it, leaving to public to make wild assumptions. Starting with “Irreplaceable” aaallllll the way back in 2006. Wrtten by Neyo IIRC.

Lets say her songs are truly autobiographical, as she would like us to believe. 10 years with a cheater???? That’s the real problem.

Um...it’s her job to keep the public interested in her music, is it not? If anyone feels “manipulated” because they think every song she sings is completely autobiographical, that person should take a step back and look at his or her life and educational choices.

“her first job (at Contempo Casuals!)”

      Ahaha of course it was.

Related, I have been laughing since Thursday about all the people calling Abigail Fisher “Becky with the bad grades.”

The whole phrase is incorrect and stupid. “Becky’s are always white girls in urban slang. “Good hair” isn’t used toward caucasian girls — it’s for mixed or black girls with straight straightish hair (revolting all by itself and demeaning to black girls with kinky/coily hair)”. Beyonce just threw out a meaningless mishmash of urban slang and people are losing their minds over it.

Thank you, sisters in the struggle. I have been so confused about why anyone would thing Becky was one actual person for the very reasons of labels you provided. As a Black woman in my community, Becky is any random White girl/woman and good hair would only ever be used to reference a Black woman/girl.

Could be! I’m no expert. She’s pretty and her hair looks nice, it just doesn’t strike me as hair anyone would be clamoring to know the secrets behind.

This is not what “good hair” means. Please stop writing articles like this. The term is hurtful and offensive enough without a bunch of white people running around using it as thought it just means someone with “nice hair.”

White feminists are the fucking worst. Like. I can’t even, bae. They need to get woke, like, yesterday, right? On the real. Right? Full on.

For someone who "isn't" Becky with the good hair, she sure is capitalizing on the idea that she COULD be.
