I just.... can’t... wrap my head around this. I can’t imagine them talking or having anything in common and most definitly not having sex. I can picture him having sex... ALL DAY. But not her. I really do love Hiddleston - I think he’s adorable. But this smacks of desperation. I always thought he was super comfortable with himself and just enjoyed attention, as evidenced by his dancing, funny stories and impressions of other people. But this seems like a ploy to raise his status as a heartthrob so he can get better roles and maybe get an Oscar someday. I have nothing against ambition but this is so inauthentic.

I know I need to lighten up, but I have a couple of friends who get righteously pissed with the “Swift is gay” comments.

A 20-something woman who has had heterosexual relationships that did not end up in marriage...must be gay.

No one is saying there is anything wrong with it if she were gay, but do other gay folks see this as a bit of “othering” of being gay?

I’m not explaining it well, but it just feels a bit icky after hearing them go off on it.

I’m guilty of it too. I thought it would be great fun to watch conservative suburban parents of tween girls freak out if Swift came out as gay, and I was not-so-gently chastised for making someone’s sexuality part of a political agenda (even if it is on the side of the angels).
