Motherfucker actually uses a sharpie instead of pen. What kind of insanity is that?

Also, is this even a question anymore? Trump decided to run this time to up his media profile and maybe sell some t-shirts (made in China, of course), it was all supposed to be for show. He never expected it to get this out of hand - he expected to lose the primaries. He had no plan in place for winning the primaries and entering the general because it wasn’t supposed to happen. Given those undeniable facts, hiring a democratic strategist to plan your reality TV style announcement with hired extras makes perfect sense.

A Sharpie is an odd choice for someone with such small hands.

Based on this article I’m pretty convinced that Trump wants to become Prez in order to rubber stamp his real estate deals that have been otherwise blocked by various municipalities.

Look at the trouble he had in Scotland with his golf course. How easy would it be for him to believe that he could just push that through if he ran the government?

This guy has been looting the system for year. This run is his next play for that. And he doesn’t really give a shit if things get violent in order to serve his personal needs.

The whole idea that Trump entered the race at the encouragement of the Clintons is somewhat lent some credence by Gerstman’s involvement.

Though I’d argue that if that were true it quickly became a monster the Dems couldn’t control and when he seemed poised to actually have a chance he went maverick and actually started trying.

Considering that you’ve brought this up in a number of threads, I’m beginning to think that you do think this is true. You do know that Trump has run for President before right? And that he was a democrat in the past? And, per the article above, Gerstman's Gotham company has worked for Trump on other projects? So far, your conspiracy theory is weak.

What? You provide a lot of evidence in support and then say it isn’t true?

The fact that Trump has, indeed, run many times supports my thesis. I’m rational and despite the assumption I can’t prove anything. So this remains an bit that can’t be proved one way or another.

But yes. I do believe that Bill Clinton gave Trump advice. I don’t think there was any specific intent behind it.

I’m lobbying for Trump in the Ocean, bobbing above the Marianas Trench without a life preserver. I’d pay to watch drone video of his hair floating away as he sinks below the waves, bald dome glistening.

I can’t get over the fact that he’s wearing THREE GODDAMN DIFFERENT PATTERNS! Seriously, who started this “trend?” On Leave it to Beaver, Ward made jokes about Wally’s terrible taste in suits (which was only slightly louder than this ensemble), so it’s at least 60 years in the making. The fact that he does indeed resemble George Zimmerman doesn’t help any.

Too bad Trump didn’t mention any of the political/power player rapists (insert names here). Then again, nothing gets the ol’ American anger going like uppity/rapey brown folks!

It’s the outcome of telling an unsophisticated person with no sense of taste that mixing a couple of patterns can give a richer look. When he comes into money, someone like this responds by thinking that “moar patternz” = “richer” (as in $$$, not aesthetics). It’s been happening forever with gangsters, pimps, hookers (like Gerstman), pro athletes, entertainers, etc.

You remind me of one episode of LITB where Wally gets a crazy new haircut. Every time he proudly enters the room Ward and June visibly wince and there’s a jangly little rock-n-roll sting as background music. I’d love it if they played that every time the Apricot Combover appears on TV.

Thanks god, without these exciting groups everyone would be wearing Dockers in a nice white marble kitchen in a TV ad for an insurance company.

To be honest, it doesn’t have to be nefarious. Trump very well may have been coached and/or encouraged by the Clintons who, at the time, didn’t see him as more than a rich guy who wanted to take advantage of American political theater.

There was a somewhat distinct shift when Trump started doing well where he seemed to swap from “joke run” to “serious run”.

The only logical conclusion would really be Trump releasing his tax returns but he would never do that because he’s hiding donations to NAMBLA. That’s what I’ve heard from some very smart people anyway.

In a more rational point of view, it likely shows him making a donation to one or another Democratic organizations... as he has been want to do over the years. Past his rhetoric, that would be a huge blow to his support base if it came out that Trump gave money to Clinton before his campaign got real as he had done a few times before.

“I’m offered money,” Gerstman told Gawker. “I give back alley blowjobs.”

For someone like this, it doesn’t matter who’s offering or asking.
