      Heh, well...

      That’s exactly why her recent successes have been few and far between IMO. Kidman is a talented actress, but when your face doesn’t move, and at this point literally none of hers does, you can’t be effective at conveying emotion.

      Maybe she let it wear off for a while for this role. We can hope, I guess. In the photo it does look as if she may be able to move her brows and lids a tiny bit.

      Yeah at this point in my life, I would only use botox if my face started spasming or I developed insane amounts of sweating. I think botox will be one of those things that people look back on in horror, like lead face powder or whale bone corsets.

    Please, please don’t revisit the hippy commune angle. The rest of the show was great, but Holly Hunter’s turn as the whacked crazy lady at hippy camp was just laughable. It’s almost like it was a joke written by MRA types to make fun of feminism. It really reminded me of the laughable “we’re all one” shit in Sense8.

      I loved Holly Hunter.. I actually loved that she didn’t have all the answers, not some magical crone archetype. She was just there, a charismatic woman with a slice of paradise trying to give women a break from the men who had damaged them.
