Share your favorite memories in the comments! My favorite was when Donald Trump ruined my sense of political optimism.

I remember this one time I was listening to one of his stump speeches and realized I actually had on one of those 10hr youtube videos of goats screaming. Silly me!

I do wonder what Gawker will look like in December 2016 when Hillary is president and you guys can’t just shit a diarrhea torrent of 18 posts a day consisting of little more than “TRUMP! Discuss.”

    Will we recognize it?

There is no end to the horror show that is the American political discourse.

November is just when the cycle resets itself.

You honestly think Trump will quietly disappear back under his bridge that quickly?

Banning people is a great idea. Banning guns is a horrible infringement of our 2nd Amendment rights. Do I have that right?

In an America without guns, people could still kill people. In an America without people, guns couldn’t kill anyone.

The obvious solution is that we ban all of the people from America, because long live the 2nd amendment!

My favorite Donald Trump memory is that time he lost to Hillary Clinton by 250 electoral votes.

Reminds me of an old joke.

Two old businessmen meet up on the street in the garment district in New York City.

One says to the other, “Oh, I heard about your warehouse fire, I’m so sorry!”

      The other replies, “Shhhh!!! Tuesday!”

I’ve been hate-reading RedState for a couple months, now. The commenting system was shut down, but it’s back online now and the hand-wringing is glorious. The amazing part is that so many of the commenters think that he’s a liberal or an ally of the RINOs, but that’s all wrong. His direct appeal is to the Tea Party types who have been disaffected by the establishment GOP. They keep twisting and imagining all kinds of scenarios where they can dupe him out of the nomination and refuse to accept the sad reality that he is the nominee and is the leader of the party and is the new face and brand of conservatism.

They peaked with “overinflated piss blimp” and every one since then has been a sad attempt to recreate the magic.

The conservative purity demands mean that traditional conservative media outlets are fucked for a while. It’s all out war. Say something bad or even realistic about Trump and it’s “RINO commies”. Say something ggod about Trump it’s “you’ve betrayed conservatism”. I always knew the GOP would split, I never thought it would split horizintally through it’s base.

One tangible benefit to a Donald Trump candidacy: it’s a lot easier to tell which of my Facebook friends are unrepentant racists.
