Same question for you as for the other guy, bigot: What tells you the police officer wasn’t Muslim himself?

Dear sweet Mithras, I love it when people in a place where the vast majority claim to worship a guy who was known as “the Prince of Peace” while simultaneously being hate-filled, violent assholes mock some other religion claiming to be the peaceful one.

      Fucking. Love. It.

Rachel Maddow had a segment last night on ISIS calls for individual attacks, in the home countries of the attackers. It was the first thing I’ve seen to knock the numb out of me.

I also think of both (or more) sides of any scenario. How we brought the fight to them, and now we are getting an idea of how it feels to have that happen to us. It’s not right, they have no guiding principles that most of us would ever agree with, but they probably think the same. I think it would be great if we could figure out a less eye for an eye scenario, less cartoon character, less Skinner, more intelligent, complex and multi-faceted but I’m not optimistic that will happen.

This is a self-contradicting statement, though. These attacks have largely been carried out by first- or second-generation immigrants. In the French and Belgian cases, most weren’t even immigrants from places that have seen widespread destruction from the war on terror, but rather countries like Algeria and Morocco. We haven’t “brought the fight” to people who were born in France, or Belgium, or the US.

Agreed. Our government's direct intervention in Florida caused this second generation American closet case to snap.

Yes, because then it would’ve been 49 people dead instead of two.

Damn this is so sad it’s got me trippin. No matter what they say this has nothing to do with Islam. This guy is a criminal, not a terrorist. Same goes for the Orlando guy. He wasn’t following the holy Quran or the teachings of the good Prophet Mahomod. He wasn’t a real Muslim. He was just wilin out on his own and taking advantage of our loose gun laws.

So, I guess if there’s a silver lining in this France incident it’s that he didn’t have a gun. That’s why we need common sense gun control measures like rn here in America. Hillary can get that done. My girl is fierce on guns.

And you know that was one of the things I wasn’t totally sold on regarding Bernie’s platform. He took money from the NRA and supported gun rights with vigor. I just ain’t about that. Hillary is much more on point about guns. Man, I never thought I would be sticking up for her, but honestly now that she beat my man fair and square I think we need to vote for her. Pretty nice consolation prize to be able to vote for the first woman president. And she’s got mad credentials. Lit.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, or if you are a mouth-breathing moron. Two people are dead at the hands of an islamic extremist and you think the silver lining is that he didnt have a gun? Dead people are still dead. Idiot. I know its hard, but try not to politicize everything you see and hear. Sometimes its just better to keep your mouth shut.

Yeah, pretty lit how she was personally involved in the destruction of Iraq, Libya, and Syria, thereby allowing ISIS to flourish. Fleek.

The multiculti narrative is taking quite a beating. Who will Gawker blame this on? George W. Bush? Legacy of colonialism? #arablivesmatter?

Gee, Mr. Bush jr is actually a great place to start laying blame if, on the very off chance, you had an actual clue about 21st Century history and the disintegration of societal structure in various Muslim nations thanks to illegal wars and incursions. His ignorance and arrogance is a gift that keeps on giving. You do understand that consequences run beyond mandates... right?

No way that “Unharmed” is accurate here. That kid will never be the same.

I was just telling my kids the other day, what my first memory was: I was 3 and my baby sister was born. To know that this poor child will likely remember what happened this horrible day. Seriously, what the fuck is happening? When is the insanity going to stop?
