      Eh, from all evidence it was a mutually toxic relationship. At least, not to the point any individual is worth our actual support. Two violent and egocentric people are having a private conflict in public. I think they’re both getting serious hard-ons from the coverage.

    We’re told Lauren and Nick loved the steampunk wallpaper, and decided to run with the industrial motif for the whole room.

    ...and money can’t buy taste (although despite this copy it does not look very steampunk to me)

      I don’t see a single thing that makes me think of steampunk. Heck, I don’t really see industrial either. The wallpaper is balloons and umbrellas and there are a couple silver knick-knacks; neither of which add up to steampunk or industrial.

      I do kinda like it, but I'll admit to having no sense of style.

      I mean, I don’t think it’s terrible, though it’s not what I would have gone with (or did- my kid’s nursery is a bunch of cheap stuff off Wayfair and a wall stencil from Etsy). But, I’m really not seeing where steampunk comes in.

    “YEAH, man! We went STEAMPUNK! Awesome right?”

    “I guess, hm, yeah- this wallpaper is pretty, uh, vintage looking. And I like the shelf arrangement. Very much. Um.”

    “Don’t you LOVE the steampunk felt giraffe? It’s from France. They’re made by ACTUAL artisan steam punks. And these steampunk geometric cushions? The colour is about steam, and the crazy lines are so like punk, right?”

    “It’s certainly... yeah. Uh, Nick?”

    “Yeah? ... STEAMPUNK, right? “

    “Who put these letters up?”

    “The designers! Threw in the installation for free! It’s so the baby knows where to be! Kinda thought we should call the baby Steampunk given that we love the theme so much, but..”

    “Nick. These letters, they look... off. They’re not spaced correctly. At all.”

    “THEY’RE MEANT TO LOOK LIKE THAT. IT’S STEAMPUNK. OH MY GOD."

    There is nothing remotely Steampunk about that nursery. Nor Industrial. It’s nice, but it ain’t $50k nice. Their designer/contractor inflated the prices at least 3x.

      No way it cost $50k. There was no construction involved and there’s basically just a crib, a chair and an end table. I am assuming either Nick Carter said it cost $50k to sound more impressive or TMZ did. Otherwise it’s just photos of a nice but non-descript baby’s room.

      Furniture can add up, but even the furniture looks like it was worth $20K at MAX. Frankly, some of it is kinda amateurish - the name on the wall is spaced funny and is distracting. That carpet looks nice and fluffy, but it better be stain-resistant.

      Unless “Dallas Clayton” is her alter ego, she did credit the artist (if you click on it, his name appears). He’s got a following and his work is pretty identifiable if you’re familiar with him so I don’t think Lively is trying to be shady about it.

      Is it me or does Depp looks like he stinks? I have never met the man, never been in close proximity to him. He is a talented actor and decent musician but no matter his role, no matter what he wears, he looks like he has a stink about him.
