    Guess who can run 10 km again? This girl!!! It took me 2 months to get there but I finally ran it while only stopping once to fix my headphones. I am going to blow all the calories burned on steak, lobster, and made-at-the-table casear salad tonight and not a fuck will be given.

    Heard needs to get the deposition done. The longer she waits, it’ll just give Depp’s team of vultures more ammunition to hurl at her in the press. Besides, it’s best to get everything he did officially recorded.

      This is such totally standard and understandable behavior though. It’s very typical for people to waffle about just how serious they want to get with the law following domestic violence. They haven’t stopped loving the other party after all, and besides, an adversarial deposition is terrifying and invasive as a process; they’re expected to relive the entire thing multiple times and in unerring detail.

      They’re also repeatedly grilled about their own lives, especially any painful experiences that might be upsetting enough to lead to apparently inconsistent statements. There’s a lot of leeway in subject matter within a deposition, largely under the rubric of “background questions.” What the opposition’s attorney wants is any wedge they can use, either emotionally or legally, to try to discredit the person giving the statement. They will be ruthless in trying to get this. This can go on for hours at a time.

      She should get it over with, absolutely. But I understand why that’s hard to do.

      Yeah, I can completely understand why she might be waffling. Also, I went through a deposition recently, albeit for a medical malpractice case, and it was rage inducing from start to finish. I can only imagine how it’s going to be for her. There’s really no good side for her in this.

    I’m feeling bad for a Kardashian - good grief. Khloe has done so much for him, postponing divorce proceedings so she could make medical decisions for him while he was in coma. And this is how he pays her back. He OD-ed in a brothel for crying out loud!

      Do what I do: imagine ridiculous stories about them (because they are probably true, anyways). I write fan fiction in my head about the Kartrashians and their talentless web of social media models and deejaying relatives and acquaintances - it always ends the same way though, with all of them being sucked into a Malibu tsunami.

    All jokes about the Kardashians aside, I hope Khloe stays safe. Jealous/bitter/potentially violent ex-husbands are no joke, and no woman, famous or otherwise, is entirely safe from domestic violence or threats.

    You’d think the guy would be thankful to have survived what happened to him last fall, but it sounds like he’s still terrible.

      I hate to be cynical but I wonder if this isn’t just a ratings/pr stunt. Why leak to the press saying how terrible he is being and that you are ‘thinking’ about getting a restraining order. Wouldn’t you just do it??

      That said if he really is being horrible then I too hope she is safe.
