    I can’t count how many times over the last ten years I’ve witnessed moderate Republican women, “nice,” well-bred white women with new cars and big houses, forced to come over to the dark side by the extreme right-wing hatemongers running the state of Kansas. You can practically see the weight lift off their shoulders.

      It’s not even just the dog whistle or the bullhorn racism, its shit like “I don’t believe in abortion even to save the mother’s life” or “God wanted you to carry this dead or terribly malformed and in pain fetus, because you need to know your place, bitch”.

      I don’t know how you can be a woman and endorse the Republican Party. The Democrats are FAR from perfect, but this is like comparing apples to a bowl of dog turds. The austerity policy proposals (and enactments) seem far from fiscally conservative too, so I’m not sure of the logic.

      It’s not a blow. It’s been an inevitability since the beginning. Doesn’t mean I’m happy that my choices are between nationalist and warhawk. I just hope Jill Stein is on the ballot in my state because I’m not voting for either the other two.

      Just reading your list made me laugh, because each of Obama, Clinton, Biden, and Warren can be a terrifying debate opponent, even when matched against someone relatively intelligent and well-prepared. Any one of them can absolutely wipe the floor with Trump, and I think I’m going to enjoy seeing Warren latch onto and demolish poor arguments, Obama and Clinton each bring their own brand of sarcastic contempt, and Biden grin with those big fake teeth like he’s ready to eat anyone who gets between him and his prey.
