    As of 2013, the working class—made up of working people without a college degree—constitutes nearly two-thirds (66.1 percent) of the U.S. civilian labor force between ages 18 and 64.

    Not a good way of measurement, considering that many college-educated people hold the same jobs as those without a college education. There are also still quite a few non-college educated people who earn sizable incomes, especially in the construction world.

      Remember reality show “Joe Millionaire?” The background said he was not a millionaire at all but rather a construction worker who made $19,000 per year. My first thought was “Wow, he must be a really shitty construction worker.”
