I’m drunk off my mind, but even sober I would be crying the same tears of laughter I am now. Christ my stomach hurts.

Agreed. Play it safe with competitive wine/couch-lounging in pajamas book-ended by felines like me.

Criminal Minds episode STAT! Shemar Moore is my wife’s biggest crush and she can have at him. It would be a crime to deny it.

Dude, the Road to Hana in Maui is no joke. I’m still surprised more tourists don’t die on it every year.

Oh damn. That’s where this happened? The road to Hana is terrifying. I read in some rental car instructions that driving a rental out there is considered an out of insurance coverage area - as in, you wreck, you pay. So many tourists don’t care/can’t read.

It’s not nearly as dangerous anymore - it’s been repaved and widened in many areas. Driven it many times over the years, and the only danger I remember was that of sudden flooding/landslides.

It’s lawyer speak, but I doubt she’s “elated” about anything atm. Relieved, appreciative, thankful. Even “feels vindicated” might work.

Yeah that was a poor word choice. Aren’t twins supposed to be supernaturally bonded or something, and if she’s innocent, her twin just died violently. Fire the lawyer.

And at her hands regardless of whether it was deliberate or not. So if she is innocent presumably she’s going to be feeling massive guilt as well as grief. Plus given her injuries if she is ‘elated’ about anything it’s only because she’s on some really good drugs.

I’m not suggesting guilt or innocence in this case, but the Hana Highway was the most terrified I’ve ever been in a car. A couple hours of switchbacks overlooking giant vertical cliffs with railings absent for a large part of the road.

I guess you didn’t explore the north shore? THAT shit was scary....at least the road to Hana wasn’t a single, unpaved lane.

She’s doing this all wrong. She’s supposed to wake up from the car crash with amnesia, so no one knows which twin was which, and they can’t prosecute. #soapoperalawyering

OF COURSE it wasn’t homicide. Would it have been homicide if Thelma died and Louise lived? Hell no! These girls were sisters on a treacherous road, and they surely were both sober.
