      Yep! I had this discussion with my friend’s mother the other day, and she said progressives who vote for Trump are displaying their white privilege. She said it may be fun to watch the whole thing burn down, but she said that as a minority she would face real consequences of a Trump presidency that I wouldn’t.

      You’re absolutely right, if the country fell to pieces all the rich white men would be shuttled away to a secure bunker that they built for just such an occasion. And the poor and middle class would burn. In the aftermath they’d leave their bunkers and create an even more controlled government to protect their wealth and power.

      This isn’t even speculation, there are services the wealthy pay to protect them during disasters. These companies have private helicopters, planes, etc to come get you and take you to a safe place.

You think you’re safe in your NY media bubble, but you wouldn’t be under President Trump!
