Pretty sure democracy is what got him this far. Maybe it’s just democracy that sucks.

That’s why I used the modifier American which encompasses the republican values and other norms he is so egregiously violating.

I’ve wondered for a while how terrible his lawyers must be. He sues so often, and in so many ridiculous cases, that his lawyers must be spineless yes-men. A halfway decent lawyer would have just told him “no” when he tries to bring some of these stupid cases. Suing Bill Maher based on the premise that a joke was legally binding. Suing that one reporter twice for saying Trump was worth less than he claims. These cases were never going to go anywhere.

Trump’s strategy is clearly to delegitimize the (inevitable) ruling against him in the Trump university thing. By starting this quixotic war for racial purity on the federal bench, he can turn around later and say, “see? They went after me because of my views!”

(You’re not allowed to remember that this case was filed long before Trump started his campaign and started sharing his opinion about Mexicans to the world.)

Hopefully it doesn't work. I don't think it will work outside of his base, but who knows with this fucking guy any more?

If I were that judge I’d slap a contempt charge on Trump so fast it would undo that silly weave of his.

If HRC wins, we’ll have the first vegan First Gentleman. I doubt Murica is ready for that.

A judge having Latino heritage is not a conflict of interest. Being president of a country that believes, at least theoretically, that all men and women are equal and being a racist sack of shit is most definitely a conflict of interest.

We’ve had tons of those, though, and the country has survived. Trump worries me because he’s such a loose cannon. We don’t know what he’ll do, especially in foreign policy.

If I didn’t know any better I’d say this is a devious plan by our dastardly Kenyan Usurper overlord to identify theats to the nation so that he can put them in the FEMA camps after he suspends the election.

Let’s be clear: While we don’t want to make a joke of his chance of becoming president, we should most definitely treat this man as a joke and ridicule him roundly.

I sure am excited for trump’s presidency so I can stop living in fear of mexican judges leveraging their liberal powers on my humble university ambitions. He really speaks to the heart of issues I care about on a day to day basis.

Note to self: alienate literally every possible person on the planet, and there will always be a “conflict of interest” should I get into legal trouble!

It’s been tried. The Cliven Bundy types go for the “I don’t recognize this as a constitutional . . . [sheriff / court / little league umpire / etc., etc.]” Trump is taking the long way around, going out of his way to first SPECIFICALLY alienate entire swaths of the population then claim the conflict. His strategic error here is that he failed to first specifically alienate SPANISH judges from INDIANA (which is great) before citing the “inherent” conflict of interest. This is why Trump’s “hater” list, once compiled and cross-indexed, will be the longest, most fabulous book ever.
