      Except, it was more than that. It was the inevitable result of a prolonged history of domestic violence that goes far and beyond a temper tantrum. He tossed out cheating this time, when last time it was (probably) forgetting to fix the bed or forgetting to buy the beer. The reasons never matter. The infliction of terror and pain and the ensuing satisfaction does.

    A former Arizona police officer has been taken into custody after killing his wife and a man that tried to save her outside of the city of Phoenix.

    When that Italian douche set his ex on fire and none of the passing cars stopped to help her, I pointed out that sometimes Good Samaritans get hurt and so people are afraid to get involved. I gave an example of a local ass who tried to run over the people that were trying to help “his girl”, and less than a week later there’s a fresh excuse for people not to intervene. Time to call it a night.

      Yep. Just a minor example, but a friend of mine intervened when he saw a guy hitting his girlfriend and he got his ass kicked, had to go to the hospital.

      Yeah, those comments always bother me.

      Often it just means two dead bodies instead of one.

      If people want to try to help, that’s wonderful. But no one knows how they would truly react in these situations and no one should be shamed for not wanting to risk their own life.

        Was thinking the same exact thing: NOW they find the taser and pepper spray to subdue the suspect. In the meantime, I hope this guy gets put away for the rest of his life.

        I don’t think police should shoot to kill really, ever, at all, but they do and since they do I don’t think I would have been sad, this time, if they had.

          There are some situations where shooting someone may be necessary (if a person is actively trying to harm or kill other people either with a gun or while on drugs that make tazers and pepper spray less effective). If you shoot someone, you have to aim for their center mass (upper torso) to stop them and lessen the likelihood of stray bullets hitting innocent people. Unfortunately, shooting someone in their chest is frequently fatal, but is sometimes the only option to limit deaths. I agree police should shoot people less and that this particular guy would not be missed by many people.
