    Thank you for this. I’m glad Mongolia is moving in the right direction on LGBT issues, when so many other countries, like Turkey, are moving in the wrong direction. This kind of story is also a great reminder of how lucky we are in this country.

      I spent half a year in Mongolia, and definitely had to bail pretty fast on some bars because drunk and belligerent people wanted to fight us. At the time, a gay bar might not have been any safer, because of the cops.
