    I’m kind of amazed at the unimpeded walk down Sixth during SXSW. I went down there just once this year, on Saturday night, and it was a clusterfuck of epic proportions. This had to have been either Wednesday, Sunday, or fairly early in the day before most people got up and out.

      I love myself some Waxahatchee too. I was listening to American Weekend and I like it, I personally like the really depressing songs on that one (hahaha). Ivy Tripp is perfection. And anyone who calls her Lena Dunham with a guitar can go eff off.

      American weekend is my favorite album too! I love sleeping to it. WHICH ISN’T TO SAY IT IS BORING, just super depressing and good. Which are two of the best things, imo.

    damn. I didn’t realize they had a new album coming out.

    I really loved Bikini Kill and Le Tigre, but unfortunately, didn’t start listening to them until after they broke up. So far, I don’t enjoy what I’ve heard of The Julie Ruin quite as much, but I do like it, and maybe I can manage to Hanna live this time around.

    This is looking to be a pretty good music year for me, a lot of artists I like are putting out new albums and/or going on tour.

    Thanks for posting this, I probably would have missed it otherwise. :)
