      Can I just tell you—my dog, who has bone cancer, was in so much pain on Friday that my husband and I were both convinced the end was nigh. We take him to the vet’s, sobbing the whole time, and ask them to see what they can do for him.

      The problem? That damn animal has been eating DIRT while he is eating grass and the grit was irritating his bowel—so much so that he could not lay down or sit comfortably. The vet gave him some meds to take care of the bowel inflammation and, by Friday night, he was jumping around like a puppy and begging for pizza.

      And someone fed their damn dog HEROIN?
