    The answer to this and all your other questions is “yes”. Capitalism ruins everything that is a Bohemian joy. The last few times I’ve been to Denver I have been legitimately weirded out by the proliferation of weed shops. They’re EVERYWHERE. And they’re just so...impersonal.

    Apparently Willie Nelson is on a one-man crusade to keep weed low key and local but I’m pretty sure even he won’t manage to pull it off.

      I feel like weed shops have always been impersonal, right down to head shops and such. Unless you’re like one of those ‘too cool to care’ blasé douchebros that run those places, it’s impossible to connect with the staff in any way that isn’t irritating.

      Yeah, I mean I’ve only ever gone into a head shop for like a $1 pack of filters and then I leave as soon as possible. Even then I feel like I manage to get exposed to trace amounts of douchebaggery.

      It’s weird...these stores are like the one weak link in what is otherwise a pretty consistently awesome, chilled out culture/community.

    I have a few friends who vape their weed, and having tried it many times, I dont mind that delivery, but I still prefer the old tried and true analog methods, burning a joint or a bowl.

      Stoners have the Christian thing where if X exists somewhere in the universe then you have to make ‘X for Weed’, because we may not be physically addicted but we sure as hell are psychologically addicted.

      At least the ‘X for Weed’ stuff isn’t necessarily terrible like ‘Christian Rock’ or ‘Christian Harry Potter’ or ‘Christian Science’

      Will bald guys in khaki shorts and flip flops start loudly discussing their favorite sativa strains and hybrid blends while in line at the Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s?

      This has been going on for years where I live. You can also expect a granny who walks with a cane to join in the conversation.

      How big are these one hit pods going to be? A pod the size of a multivitamin lasts up to two weeks in my pen vape.

      I’m not sure I have an argument to make against a product and implementation I haven’t seen yet. I guess I could hope that the packaging is biodegradable from the start, instead of starting in 2020?
