    On the one hand I’m glad that they’re turning on Lewandowski like vicious wolves now that he’s been displaced by Manafort as pack leader. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

    On the other hand, it’s disturbing to see Americans rehearsing so early for their own Night of the Long Knives if their Orange Fuhrer gets elected.

      A) Trump is such a masterful politician that he’s deliberately leaking these stories to make his campaign look like a mess because any publicity is good publicity (?)

      or B) he’s such a bad manager that he can’t keep his campaign staff in order.

    Sooo, I know some Trump people (don’t judge - when you only associate with people you already agree with on everything, you end up with the intellectual breadth of the Jezebel commentariat) and we were talking about this issue last weekend. The issue is the role of Manaforte going forward. On one hand, Lewandoski/Hicks have almost singlehandedly gotten Trump this far, and on the other hand Trump is no longer running a ‘challenger’ campaign and needs to step up to a national campaign, something with which Lewandoski/Hicks have zero experience. Manaforte has the experience, but he wants to bring in his own staff of ringers. It seems like Manaforte is winning the battle in the mind of The Donald and the fight is about the role of Lewandoski/Hicks going forward. The most interesting thing (from the perspective of how he might manage a cabinet) is that Trump appears to be 1) hands off, letting everyone fight on their own and 2) has no problem switching allegiances by telling staffers conflicting info. Its almost like he has no management experience.....

      Getting alternative views (true diversity, not progressive diversity), is incredibly important to understanding the world. Its a complicated place. When really talking to Trump supporters, you realize they are nearly identical to Sanders supporters. I’m not saying that to be inflammatory; I’m simply amazed at how much high-level conceptual overlap there is between their supporters.

      The latter. I’ve had to get Kinja to ban DOZENS of his profiles. They are absolutely vile, and a few iterations have actually been pretty threatening. They don’t seem to do anything beyond banning the accounts. I want them to contact the ISP of this guy and have them warn the guy against his abusive, stalkerish behavior.
