    I think it’s fair to criticize Kelly (and lots of other journalists) for treating Trump with kid gloves. He’s an idiot with dangerous, constantly shifting policies, and he should be called to account for them. It’s not fair to tell her how she has to react to the way Donald Trump has treated her.

      Trevor Noah didn’t tell her how to react. He was floored, and I was too, that she confronted him with all of his hateful tweets and let the whole thing go with an “did I do that? Oh, excuse me,” then moved on like it never happened.

      And did it after months of claiming she was doing real hard journalism and it was only people like her between Trump and the oval office.

      Do you think world leaders are going to go with “did I do that? Oh, excuse me,” when he nukes their countries?

    Fuck this woman. As much as I’ve hated her, I cringed for her and supported her just as I would any woman being attacked by a Trump-type. No “you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas” finger-wagging either. And now she will paste on her fake smile and say whatever bullshit she needs to say in order to help this national embarrassment get elected president. I would say she should be ashamed, but I’m betting she has never felt shame in her life.

    Okay Megyn Kelly, but the thing is, you didn’t deal with the “gender attacks” (is the term “sexism” just too liberal now?).

    You laughed it off and allowed him to get away with using misogynistic language. Whatever decency you had as a journalist for asking him those questions at the debates is gone because you let him off the hook this time.

    You can’t give Trump a free pass on being so horrible towards women and then suddenly say you have an authority on how to deal with sexism. Because Noah is certainly addressing it more than you are.
