You can pry my CW shows out of my cold, dead hands. With their inclusion next season of Supergirl, pretty much gonna be perfect forever.

I either watch the CW or HBO. I’m not really watching anything right now that isn’t on either of those networks. Most CBS shows are skewed towards my parents demographic (50's-60's) and I have little to no interest in them. I am shocked they picked up Doubt (which I will watch online) since it has a trans actress playing a trans person. That kind of goes against their old, while people demo.

I love that the CW allows for fun, weird TV. Life can’t be all Dick Wolf.

Well, they are adding two white guys with glasses. They are hitting the glasses wearing population which is truly underrepresented in television. TV assumes everyone has 20/20 vision. Some of us are forced to wear glasses and it’s nice to see our population included.

Quite agree, the uniquely visioned need to be better represented on modern TV shows!

She dated Joey first and then he and Ross did the old switcheroo so Ross dated Charlie and Joey dated Rachel. Not their best storyline.

I love Kristen Bell so much and hope her show is good.

I still want a Veronica Mars show reboot. I mean we were lucky enough to get that movie, but I want more!

Thanks for that! The original description had me thinking, “meh” but the trailer is pretty awesome. She had me at “Why can’t I say fork?” lol

Eight to twelve year-old me really hopes that Amazon or Netflix picks up Drew. I read the hell out of those books when I was a kid, and George was my idol!

They’d turned it into a standard police procedural, though. She was an adult detective, working for the NYPD. Nothing of interest remained.

*insert air being let out of balloon sound here*

What is it with dang-nab television writers! They need to fiddle, fiddle, fiddle with THINGS THAT ALREADY WORK!?! It makes me insane. Mr. Smuttins and another male friend agreed to watch Season 1 of True Blood with me after much persuasion. They really got into it, and were even looking forward to Season 2. Enter Alan Ball, deciding that, “meh, he could do better than books that were selling tens of millions of copies”..and cue the beginning of the stink fest. We toughed it out until halfway through Season 3, and decided to watch Band of Brothers on DVD instead.

Also, George and Bess 4Eva. Nancy was okay, but I lived for the sidekicks in that series!

Network television is dying. CBS is now pretty much only for white people over sixty.

And you’d think they’d step it up now that there are HBO, Amazon, and Netflix original programming that are high quality.

I think they are going to let the others have the quality or prestige shows while they are content to be the Walmart of TV.

Now that Good Wife is over, CBS will be dead to me the moment the final episode of Person of Interest airs.

It’s airing on CBS’ streaming service, not the channel, but I’m waiting with baited breath to find out who is cast as the lead in the new Star Trek series. Bryan Fuller, the showrunner, really wanted Angela Bassett as a Trek captain at one point.

Well in that header photo there’s two older white guys, a middle aged white hit, and a younger white guy. That’s diverse! Oh and two of those white guys have....wait for it....glasses! So they are being inclusive of people with health problems with their vision?

    Yeah, I tried....that’s all I’ve got....

Nobody should cite 2 Broke Girls ever. I love Kat Dennings, but that show is fucking unwatchable. It’s like it’s written by 6th grade boys, just poop and cum and boob jokes. So bad.

I also was majorly let down. I love Cat Dennings, but that show is total garbage. I really hope that she is making $1,000,000 per episode and can take indie passion projects for the rest of her career. Ditto for Jon Cryer on Two and a Half Men. I loved him in eighties movies, but blech, jarg, pooey pooey to TaaHM.
