      The rifle referenced in the story is 100% likely to be a semi-automatic firearm. That is it loads one cartridge each time the trigger is pulled and one cartridge is fired. Not a continuous stream of rounds as long as the trigger is pulled, aka automatic fire.

    Is “ex-felon” a thing people say? I mean, people say “ex-con” and “ex-offender,” but I’m not sure I can ever think of a time where somebody has said “ex-felon.” It just doesn’t sound right.

    Also, on a bright note, the police came upon a couple white supremacists in combat gear with high powered automatic rifles and nobody died, even though at least one of them is totally going back to prison now.

    My husband normally wears a beard, but whenever he decides to go bare-faced for awhile he torments me by temporarily leaving a Hitler mustache behind and marching around the house making me uncomfortable for 15 or 30 minutes. I know it’s just some unflattering facial hair but it makes me so damn uncomfortable, which he finds hilarious.
