      The bartender denies it. She also went on a rant about him making anti gay remarks, and according to the restaurant, he’s gay himself. I’m taking RR’s story with a pinch of salt (on my fries). There are stories about her being an asshole before.

      I don’t know why she didn’t report him to the manager or the owner (depending on how fancy a place this is). I completely understand her desire to WANT to throw something, but really, get the guy where it matters and threaten his job. Because if you’re a bartender and you are making fun of and/or saying shit about people who choose not to drink because of WHATEVER reason, you are probably the guy who is going to cause that bar a lot of liability problems when he overserves someone.

      I really, really am wondering why it even came up? If someone offers me a free drink, I usually just say, “No thanks, I’ll take a club soda.” I don’t usually tell people I’m sober, though, because it’s none of their damned business.
