    You know, people who want to get guns have found loopholes to skirt around waiting periods in states where they are on the books. Maybe we need to set up Abortion Shows where all those rules can just go out the window? Or perhaps figuring out a way to do online abortion sales?

    that’s really great because I’m sure there was no forethought leading up to the appointment with the healthcare provider, and it’s pretty easy for most people to get as many days off of work as they need so if they have to go back every 3 or 4 days until they have met this super chill requirement, what’s the biggie?

      Don’t forget the hotels, travel expenses. Pretty sure that most poor people that live rurally can just make a number of trips to NO and hang around for a few extra days. No problem.

      I’d personally have no problem with taking a week’s vacation from work to really think about my choices as I go back and forth between appointments. I mean I want to make sure I come to the right decision, not just the one I thought would be best for me.

    Advocates of extending the Louisiana waiting period say women need more time to consider alternatives and the consequences of ending a pregnancy.

    “Many of them come to regret their decision later in life,” Deanna Wallace, legislative director for Louisiana Right to Life, said in a telephone interview. The measure is “empowering them with additional time to consider all of the options.”
