    I can't help but find it ironic that there are two pieces just behind this one involving Woody Allen's alleged sexual misconduct, chock full of negative comments about celebrities like Kristen Stewart for justifying their working with him, and yet Tom Hiddleston, star of Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris who called working with the director a dream come true, apparently gets a pass.

      Maybe it is because people like Kristen Stewart make news about it by saying ridiculous things about working with him and that situation? Also because Woody Allen’s daughter didn’t bring up the sexual allegations again until Cate Blanchett was winning awards for Blue Jasmine, which came after Midnight in Paris? Not saying it is right, but it would be my guess. The American public sometimes has a short memory.

      AMC is basic cable while HBO is premium cable. Premium cable can get away with more nudity and violence because they don’t rely on ads.

      It is funny. I’m in the UK and see people who look like Harry Styles and Jamie from Outlander every day. I guess people like the whole ambience of the accent and all. Or whatever is seen as appealing differences. But some people go overboard about it.

    The New York Post reports that when this particular episode of The Night Manager aired in the U.K. on the BBC, it contained a mid-sex-scene shot of Hiddleston’s flexing butt that caused a mild uproar in the U.K. and lots of enthusiastic #Hiddlesbum tweeting. Appointment television!

    But when the episode finally arrived on American television, fans were very surprised and deeply disappointed to see that there was nothing to see.

    Finally, we American dudes are freed from the tyranny of the Female Gaze!
