I like that most of the responses aren’t “Good job putting her in her place brah.” Small victories. :\

Yeah he did, he learned not to get caught next time. I’m sure that’s the lesson he’s learned.

Despite all that legwork, it’s unclear if anyone called the police

I wondered that too. So you'll sit there for hours searching public databases, social media and Goog yet 911 is too difficult to dial? Gamers, what a bunch.

Well if they had his address and shit, that can be something the police can use.

People techier than me: Now that many police departments accept 911 text messages, is there a way to create a report form that captures the worrisome material, tracks the user IP to its home zip code and generates a text to send said material to the police department text number? Is that a possible solution.

Men being strongly opposed to violence against women isn’t really a new thing. Actually guys who get really enraged about it are generally not what you’d think of as feminists. Its a whole masculine code of honor thing.

Donald Trump winning the nomination is the least surprising news of the day. Playing video games doesn’t make you violent. This is not a normal thing.

I just listened to it really hoping it would be a very bad prank but unfortunately it sounded very very real. Absolutely completely beyond the pale. I hope that poor woman has some help to get out and away from him.

When I worked for dish network one evening I had a phone call for what was most likely weather related outages (clouds) the caller was a kid about ten or so. He was upset and trying to see if I could make whatever program that was being missed show up. In the background I heard the step father (I assume) screaming drunkenly about said program and hitting the mother (I assume) because either she had damaged the signal or her son had. It was a shitty call.

I kept taking calls went home drank and went to sleep before going back feeling that much more soul shattered than before. If you do tech support long enough it happens and there isn’t anything to do about it because liability.

According to his twitter profile, this sick fuck has kids. I hope they weren’t around when this horrible thing was happening, but I doubt it is an isolated indecent. I just hope his kids are okay and his girlfriend/wife gets the fuck out of there.

He needs to be in a cell.
