Now, I'm freaking out how close Trump is to the presidency. This whole Republican nomination process has been an unmitigated nightmare of epic proportions. Everyone was horrible in their own ways.

I was a Bernie supporter for most of the primary but now that shit is getting real I’m in full Hillary mode. She’s going to pummel Trump into the ground and I’m really excited to see her kick some ass now.

    Carly lost this election twice.

I hope Heidi can find some freedom.

And here’s DejecTED elbowing Heidi in the face because she was in the way of him hugging an old white guy.

I’ll almost miss Ted Cruz. Hating him has been a fun hobby this primary season.

The real sadness is that there be fewer reasons for Craig Mazin to share his glorious Ted Cruz tid bits.

I don’t want the Dems to get too cocky and think this election will be a cakewalk. I want to see whomever the Dem nominee working their ass off this campaign season and not take Trump for granted.

The sheer giddiness I’m getting from Candidate Serial Killer’s crushing failure is mixing poorly in my gut with abject terror at the reality that we very well may see Trump in the White House.

Not sure what to think of this, so I’m reaching for a bottle. <insert shruggie>

What does this mean for that whole idea of a contested nomination at the Republican convention? Do they offer up other candidates like in House of Cards and just start voting over and over?

I’m wondering about this too. Can the delegates just decide they aren’t going to vote for trump and throw the whole thing into chaos? Can they bring up completely random people? Can they all of sudden say they’re voting for Bush? How does this all work?!

This summer is going to be glorious. We’re very possibly getting two contested conventions. God help us all if there’s no fight at the republican convention.

I think since Cruz only suspended his campaign the delegates can vote for him over Trump after the first round of voting. Someone on my Twitter feed is thinking that this is his why he dropped out. He is going to focus all his resources into trying to get the delegates to jump ship to him

This will stay in the grays, but here goes:

As important as the news about Trump is, everyone is missing the point—In a state where unions and Democrats are faced with hostility, a state that is essentially southern, a state that us bone deep conservative, Bernie is beating Clinton.

    That is the story.

+1. Indiana is an Appalachian state. I did not see this. Michigan made sense. Pennsylvania would have made sense. Indiana for Bernie...surprising. Pleasantly surprising, but surprising all the same.
