      My mother does this. She’s got a moderate case of road rage whether she realizes it or not. And every time she pisses someone off enough to make them follow her (which is what road rageaholics do... I guess) she just busts out her phone and points it at them through her window. I’ve been in the car with her during at least two of these incidents.

    It’s funny...I’m in Chicago...and last week, a poor woman was damn near beat to death on the El, while folks did nothing...I already know how I would react, growing up in “Terror Town” and seeing more than one fight where a male was applying a beat down to a girl/woman as if each fucking blow delivered to her head/body quickly delivered $50 to his fucking wallet...the first time, I got hit in the face so hard, I thought my nose was broken...and I literally saw stars/tweety birds/falling flowers...snowflakes in July....ALL of that...he hit us both...at the same time...or I think he lunged to hit her...and I lunged to stop it...all I remember is me AND her being on the ground...Once you get hit that hard...and you shake that shit off...and you get up...all of a sudden...death don’t mean shit....and one just dosen’t have enough opportunities in life to emulate Wolverine...which I fondly recall doing with gusto...

    Besides...swelling, ultimately...almost always...goes down...
