    A few weeks ago, I read an article by a woman who was a big fan of Matthew Perry. She went to see his play and waited by the stage door to met him. This took hours. When she finally saw him, he rushed past and said he wasn’t signing autographs. She was so disappointed and upset with him. I can understand her feelings but I don’t think she was thinking of him like a person. He just spent hours doing a play and it was very late at night when he left. He more than likely was tired and wanted to go home.

    Honestly, I think there are some fans who expected too much from the people they are fans of. If they want to put limits on how they interact with them, it’s their right.

      I definitely agree that people go too far. I might be dating myself here, but I knew someone who ran into Val Kilmer in the parking garage of his lawyer’s office as he was going through a divorce. She asked him for his autograph and he wasn’t terribly rude but was a bit brusque and brushed her off without giving her the autograph, and she was so mad.

      I was like, dude, he’s going through a divorce (and everyone knows it), he was just at his lawyer’s office, he’s probably emotional and upset. Sure, fans are the reason these people have their careers, but they are still human and shouldn’t be expected to be receptive to fans literally all the time.

    Someone in the Dirt Bag comments yesterday was whining about how terrible Amy Schumer is because the asshole fan she called out was now going to get rape and death threats. My first thought was, “You are ridiculously naive if you think HE’S the one who is going to be inundated with hate and harassment over this.”

    Looks like I was right.

      I just popped over to her IG account. There are a lot of comments re her being a liar, the dude in question being “honest” (by all these people coming out claiming to know him), her being terrible and rude, etc. So, yeah. Everything we expected.

      I really think celebrities who tweet are gluttons for punishment. I mean, even mortals can’t say anything on the internet without some oversensitive narcissist taking it personally and getting offended because they can’t fathom that the world doesn’t revolve around them and their life experience (though I’m sure they’d call it a “journey”), or someone bitching that you’re not being 100% politically correct, etc.

      They must really love the attention if they’re willing to put up with all this shit. I mean, Schumer tweets about how she got harassed by some asshole for a picture, and yet she’s the one who has to explain herself/clarify the next day? WTF?

    Kate is this weird mix of “plain Jane” and complete irreproachability. This cover does nothing for me though - the hat is border lining on ridiculous.

    Also. Why do the royals put their children in the most ridiculous outfits for toddlers known to man kind?! Is there a charm in little ones made look like they came from a fashion magazine in the 1950s? So weird.

      I’m fine with the dick, however much/little he decides he wants to provide for anyone’s viewing pleasure.

      What’s kinda freaking me out is that he looks like an anorexic Ken doll. I have seen lean-muscle pics of him, but in this pic his hips and legs look plastic-y and like he should have a Mattel™ stamp on his butt.
