      Spot on. Some people miss out on how severe and extreme a breach that is of universally agreed upon Capitol Hill/DC protocol. People coming out and openly insulting a fellow colleague like that is effectively unheard of.

      Sure, they may fume at people around them behind closed doors. But to bash them to the press? That’s huge.

    Lucifer literally means something akin to “light bearer/bringer” so I’d be pissed, too. lol Ted is anything but. Ted’s not even the absence of light, which has its own value. Ted is eternal twilight, which reveals to you the existence light, but that also that you’ll never possess it.

      Biblical “Lucifer” was a reference to the “dawn star,” now known as Venus. It’s only in one place in the Old Testament (Isaiah, IIRC). It’s only there because of shitty translations; Jews have neither a Hell not a literal Satan. “Lucifer” and that pride story? It’s a prophecy about a FUTURE Babylonian king.

      Or it used to be in the future. Stupid 2500 year old prophesies...
