Young voters have overwhelmingly backed Bernie Sanders throughout the Democratic primary, leading to endless speculation that Hillary Clinton will face a big “millennial problem” come November.

A new poll out today, however, suggests that Clinton would do more than just fine with young people in a general election. Clinton leads Donald Trump by a whopping 36 points among people ages 18 to 29, according to a Harvard Institute of Politics study released on Monday.

Here’s a graph from the article, showing how millenials would vote when asked to choose between Trump and Clinton. This is the last nail in the “If Hillary wins, we won’t vote” argument.

But I want to teach the Democrats a lesson! If Clinton loses we’ll have a revolution!

Yeah, her problem with youth voters in the primary was never going to be a serious problem for her in the general election. The only people who took that argument seriously were the nuttier Berners and the media, which loves BS horserace stories.

Does the sign that the girls are holding say “Carly”? Maybe this figures into why the Cruz campaign is vetting her.

In 1991, I remember this guy passionately yelling at me, saying “If Bill Clinton becomes president, our country will be ruined”.

This was one of my 12 year old classmates. This is how it works. The glue from those stickers is going right to their brains.

Also, last night, someone told me Sanders has won in the states with the highest “diversity” which means he’d do best in the national race against Trump. The claim came from a HuffPo article citing Hawaii, Alaska and Washington State as the most diverse states.

I spent a lot of time looking up the census data for the states with the highest minority populations (not the same thing as “diversity” but, IMO, more important) and cross-referencing it with primary wins. I published my findings on my own Kinja blog. The results show that Clinton has won nearly all of the highest-minority population states (except Alaska and Hawaii) and that WA State comes in at #25 on the list of minority population states.
