      Knowing how much my black and Latino friends lovvvvve the expression “the race card,”and how fired up that gets them - rightly so - I encourage Trump to pursue this line of argument for as long as he wants. Because while it may make my lady-blood boil (to clarify for the man himself, that’s the kind running through my veins, not just the kind coming out of my “wherever,”) I’m not alone.

      So here is my plea: Please make women angry, Mr. Trump. Pretty, pretty please. That can only go well for the Democrats. To borrow an term from you, they’ll win “bigly.”

        Agreed. About 95% of the time someone is accused of playing the (insert oppressed group) card either: 1) they never played that card or 2) they played that card because it’s true.

        Clinton’s comeback last night was great. I’m paraphrasing, but she said, in effect, “If championing reproductive rights, equal pay and family leave means I’m playing the Woman Card, then deal me in.”

        Early in the campaign she was explicitly saying, “Vote for me because I'll be the first woman president (wait for applause)!". In one debate she said it like three times in five minutes. Not sure if that's "the woman card" or not but she wasn't shy about claiming that as a perfectly legitimate reason to vote for her.
