      Agreed. If you want the ability to be able to pick up and go, renting makes sense.

      EDIT: It seems the Pitt-Jolies are only planning to be there for 6 months, so of course renting makes sense.

      No one can tie me down, I don’t have to worry about losing money like so many of my friends have when they have needed to sell their homes due to life changes and if something breaks, someone else has to fix it.

    I don’t wear my wedding rings all the time. In fact, I only wear them when I’m going out. As soon as I get home, the first thing I do is take them off because they interfere with cooking, cleaning, bathing my son, walking the dog etc. I usually put them back on if I’m going to run out to the store or something but eh, sometimes I don’t.

      I do exactly the same thing. Plus it’s loose now (lost weight) and I’m too lazy to get it resized so it’s constantly spinning around and irritating me. I often forget in the morning and as I type, my fingers are naked. Earrings however, I never forget!

      Me too! I love my rings but they really aren’t practical (and they’re fairly simple). At this point I pretty much only put them on if I’m doing something where I’m taking a little more care with my appearance than throwing on jeans and a tee shirt.

    Could it be possible, that Kelly and Michael are two normal fucking people just doing them? That Michael got a new job and its ok? That Kelly is on vacation and really doesn’t care? Or that maybe the executives handled it badly but Kelly and Michael are cool with one another? Does everything have to be an exhaustive scandal?!

      Agree. why is it getting SOOOOOOO much press and what is a big deal that he's switching jobs? Maybe the show has a bigger audience than I thought, I just don’t get why people are so invested in a daytime talk show that otherwise doesn’t get talked about.

      i don’t watch the show all the time, but when i happen to be home (and up) i check it out. i think the shock is that the story they sell is them “being friends” and finding out that she wasn’t in on the decision, or wasn’t aware of his decision to leave kind of seems odd.

      Who has been doing the Trump descriptions around these here parts? Because they should write the review for this duet and save you the torture. I, however, will listen to it because I have been desensitized to bad music over a long career of listening to boy bands and Europop and can pretty much enjoy anything. Except for Zayn. (You know what you did.)

    I disagree about renting. With high end real estate, you could just as easily lose more than half a million on a property over two years, if you are buying at a peak in the market, and think of the taxes saved. I think it’s more affordable practical for the super rich to rent than it is for typical renters.

        Re Brad/Angelina renting - yes but you know they write it off as a business expense or part of it is subsidized by whatever movie studio is paying their salary for the movie role they are in.
