I like Bernie, but I don’t really care if he’s president. More than anything I want him to be head of the military so we can stop going to war in the Middle East.

Hopefully the primary doesn’t get too nasty. I want Hillary to remember Bernie for Head of Military just like Obama remembered Hillary for Sec of State.

“Most of that money came from Fred Eychaner” — An ostensibly progressive Koch. Once again, Hillary’s deep pockets stuffed to the buttons with special interest PAC bucks while she drags all that weight onstage to decry money in politics. She’s one of those ‘opposite’ people where whatever they claim you know it’s a lie.

Can you please let us know when Bernie plans to return the “special interest” money he’s raked in?

Feel free to play the aloof card but the last presidential race came in around a billion$.

If you the Dem nominee does not have equal resources, they will be crushed by Trump.

Advertising dollars decide elections in the fall, every year.

Good. The Democrats are taking advantage of a disorganized Republican field. Politico had a pretty good summation of the strategy yesterday. You'll notice familiar names from Obamas team helping out! http://www.politico.com/story/2016/04/…

Disorganized? I could throw a banana into a crowd of starving chimpanzees and it would be more organized than the GOP field.

Yeah this is some unheard of levels of the gop just giving this election season away. What democrat strategist wouldn’t want to take part in the disintegration of a major political party?

Bernie is only doing advertising using a Gutenberg printing press that he crafted out of environmentally friendly wood.

Its more like he’s claiming that he’s using that ecofriendly printing press to his supporters while actually doing the same shit that everyone else is doing. That’s more his style.

Just think about all of the student loans that money could have helped pay off. Or how many kids could go to college with that money and no debt. Think about all of the families that are struggling that could have been helped with that money. How many homeless people could have been helped at getting a second chance. How many medical bills, or surgeries could have been paid for. Just think about that for a moment.

I sure could’ve used that $1000 Sanders supporters threw at Clinton the other day. That would've covered student loan payments for the next four months for me.

Given the GOP's current state of affairs, she could just put 30 seconds of a Marx Brothers sketch up with a scroll: "This classic comedy moment was brought to you by Hillary Clinton, who would still like very much to be your President. Hope you enjoy. Have a nice day." and it would be just as effective. Also, "Fighting for us" could be changed to "Don't worry; I'm still here, you guys."

Technically, she’s not doing anything — candidates aren’t allowed to coordinate with SuperPACs, and this is all about what a SuperPAC is planning to do.

Okay, fine. Additionally, the *PAC* could put up 30 seconds of classic comedy for our amusement with a casual reminder that Hillary is still running and it would still work. Hillary herself could do the same in her own name, as I believe candidates are still approving messages.

I know. How dastardly — and I mean just DASTARDLY — that a presidential candidate would raise money to run political advertisements! I mean, only presidential candidates do that sort of thing.

A candidate running for president having ads is pretty much standard operating procedure.

And I am curious if there was a Gawker article about Priorities USA spending boatloads of cash on ads to help Obama in his re-election bid in 2012?

What exactly was learned from it? Because I would love to know why it is an issue for people now when Citizens United was in full effect back when this same SuperPAC was working tirelessly to get Obama re-elected and Gawker was strangely silent on the subject.

And I cannot recall many Gawker articles that were critical of Pres. Obama’s policies if another Obama like presidency is the thing you don’t want to be doomed to repeat.
