      I read the Gawker blog simultaneously with the Times and TPM ones. NYT was fine, they’re sick of Bernie but that’s expected, and the editor’s blog at TPM is pretty great. Gawker’s cookie-time blog wasn’t useful in comparison, but more devastatingly, it wasn’t funny.

      A lip lift is easy and not expensive: the doctor just makes a cut under the nose and lifts the upper lip back into place with tiny stitches under the nostrils. The best way is to go deeper and secure it to the muscle, so the skin doesn’t just stretch down again. A little filler, and presto! You have the plump upper lip you had at fifteen years old, teeth and all. The lower lip can be lifted up too. There’s no need to let nature wreak its will. The money is a consideration, but I’d rather have a short upper lip than stylish clothes, so choices.

      Cosmetic surgery at best makes one look like they had a good nights sleep. It is much easier to simply lower one's standards and learn to like having sex with unattractive people.

    I love Bernie.

    Now if he only had a real economic strategy that establishes a true fiscal discipline and lowers the National Debt, then he might actually have something to smile about. All the rest of the tax n spend stuff is plain rhetoric. (Trump smiles all the time knowing absolutely nothing about anything based on International fund flow reality, it’s somewhere resident outside of that place he goes to tweet after work.)

    Free education Bern? I love it. But there goes all the research grant money again. All those DeeArrs are gonna shit bricks and go broke. Then all we have is mind bending unsolicited weapons grants again, (ala the Bush years). If you let the Chinese do all the research, there goes the last bastion of American Pride right down the drain. Talk to me about grants Bernie. We need new stuff that we can make here.

    Foreign policy? I love the guy but Bernie’s going to get sucked into the front end of a French made airliner. The fastest growing economies in the world? Follow the money Bernie, watch the money, move it through the USA, take a nice big chunk of it, then move it along. Duh. It’s all about the money. See what happened with the price of oil?... What about ISIS? Hey Bernie, they aren’t little brown ghost people running around on Toyotas with Kalishes anymore. They got oil, 24/7 refineries, and a shitbag full of money. Say something about the Middle East that makes sense to me, then tell me something about Putin and Syria. Not hearing you.

    Bernie’s digging his own grave by not having solid plans to harness the timelines of the future. Again, I love Bernie, but he scares me.

    No top teeth. Yeah, he’s got a lot not to smile about.
