      Considering how often we warn kids about the fact that stupid shit posted to the internet lives on forever, it’s amazing how often adults seem to forget. Some purging can be done, though. Like the spot-on, hilarious takedown of my company’s owner and his family on one of the workplace review sites that the boss’s daughter was able to beg and plead to get removed. Or this fabulous shot of Dick Cheney reaaally excited about ice cream, which appeared on the front page of the local paper and was promptly removed from newsstands and the digital universe as soon as people started pointing (only scans exist).

        Every time I saw some idiot on my Facebook post a picture alleging that somebody was trying to get it off the internet, I admonished them for being so stupid as to believe such a thing is possible.

        Now I get to admonish an entire college’s administration for the same thing. God, I love crushing stupid people.
