Honestly, Ellie Kemper is really nice. I have met her in circumstances when it would have been very easy for her to be mean.

  I know that the older a woman is the more likely there are to be complications, and 35 seems totally reasonable. But people are so judgemental about pregnancy, I feel like the age of the woman is one of the first things that is judged.

Guys, I had a baby with my wife. He looked like a cross between ET and Mr Burns. He was a difficult eater since birth and wifey and I took him t a slew of specialists. They all said he’s small but ok. We finally were told years later that he needed to have his tonsils and adenoids removed. We did. A rocky recovery from that. He’s now in second grade , reading twos grade levels ahead and taking fencing lessons.

Back off Ellie.

  Rather tangential: my cousin looked like a turtle, as a baby. He was an uuuugly kid (yes, there is such a thing as an ugly baby). He had a speech impediment, and grew up with a mother who punished him for pronouncing “truck” wrong (if you know what I mean) and would do shit like going on a diet and forcing her kids to live sugar-free, too. He slacked his way through high school and stubbornly refused to leave his parents’ basement for a few years (when they’d lock away the computer, or the cables for it, he’d go to extremes to foil their efforts. His brother would do the same). Now, he has a wife and a three year old daughter, and apparently, he’s got a job offer from our government because he wrote a useful little computer program, or so my mom tells me. He doesn’t even look like a turtle anymore. His speech impediment is also gone. I think not living with his mother did wonders...
