I have enjoyed every single thing I’ve seen on Viceland. I love the topics, the approach to telling a story, I’m fascinated by everything I see on there, even shit I have no interest in.

I’m really happy about discovering it, too.

When Fuck That’s Delicious or whatever came on I was not planning on enjoying it, but those guys are fun and enlightened and have good taste in food. Gaycation is heartbreaking, balanced by so much joy and bravery (that time when they interviewed a guy who admits to murdering gay people!)

I keep trying to find it on OnDemand, after the 14th hour of Weediquette I do get a bit bored, but it isn’t there yet. Fuck that’s Delicious is good. I watched some Fashion show/documentary that I was oddly entertained by especially when the host had her hair done in a beauty parlor was yelling at her hair being pulled and there were lot’s of reaction shots of people giving her hard side eye. Gaycation is hard for me to watch for the reasons noted. It’s sad. But good.

This sounds fascinating. I realize that Vice can be kinda problematic at times, but it sounds like they’re really nailing it with this.

Have you seen States of Undress on the Vice channel? I saw the Pakistan episode and I thought it was really well done for the most part. It had some over-the-top sensationalism that Vice is so famous for, but far less than their HBO series.

My main exposure to them has been through the HBO series. Looks like I need to look closer at the channel itself.

Viceland has been my go-to, nothing-else-to-watch channel for a few weeks. I haven’t seen a show I didn’t like yet, including surprisingly the fat guy rapper does Bourdain show. All that in spite of the first impression of it being the “White People Investigate How Brown People Live All Over The World!” channel.

Not sure if you’re talking about Fuck That’s Delicious or Huang’s World, cause they’re both dope as fuck
