Prior to the alleged rape of Anderson, it doesn’t raise ANYONE’S eyebrows that she consented to cunilingus from someone while in a relationship with someone else? Obviously not ok what Connor may or may not have done, but methinks the boyfriend dumped her because she was getting head from someone besides him, and not necessarily because she was allegedly raped.

  1. From a legal defense standpoint, lost relationship+STD makes a compelling argument for retaliatory action. Admittedly allegations from other women as they appear, don’t help his case.

I hope she realises what strength she is showing in not letting all the people, including friends, telling her they don’t believe her cause her to doubt herself about what happened. That is not to suggest that victims who suffer from self-doubt or question their own memories are weak in any way, it’s a completely understandable reaction. Just that it is great to see this statement from her- it seems like a really healthy way to process how people are reacting to her.
