      I never plucked my eyebrows since there isn’t a unibrow situation. I could probably shape them or something, but it just seems like an unnecessarily annoying grooming habit that I survived without doing for 30 years of life.

      I didn't know this is currently on trend. That is exciting for me!

      It’s not that it looks like coffin lining, it’s that it is coffin lining used for a different purpose. I would have loved it when I was a tiny one, though, and if my dad (of all people) tried to take it away, it wouldn’t have been pretty.

      I’m a super-basic white American with no stake in it (we have no real culture, as such) and it looks plain stupid to me.

      But then, I did gymnastics when I was a kid. So from the POV of that discipline, part of my judgment is that I’m thinking, “That’s it?” This position would have been a starting point or a mid-point for me, not an endgame.

      I mean it’s just pretty much stretching and learning to control your breath, which is healthy and stuff but I can’t with the whole namaste/chakras appropriated bs. Like here is a practice that people from a developing country use to cope with having nothing and/or express their faith to a religon or a life of asceticism and here you are in your lululemons trying to look hot.
