Will the creators of the video face any consequences for inciting terrorism?

You know the answer to that question, and it’s not “yes”.

Why not? It’s dictionary-definition terrorism, there’s a direct causal line from the video to the terrorist act, and as far as I know inciting terrorism is illegal. Call me naive, but from a legal standpoint, how can they not prosecute the people who made it? I should think that victims’ families would sue if the government failed to bring the conspirators who caused their loved ones’ deaths to justice.

“One person setting fire to an abortion clinic will not do anything but thousands setting fire to an abortion clinic will speak volumes….It is not violent to set a building on fire…If thousands rallied together to set each murder house on fire, we would see the end of abortion…”

    1. Nobody is getting “murdered” at PP. If you want to investigate “murder houses”, go investigate the federal penitentiary system.

    2. Setting all the clinics on fire will not end abortion, it will simply make it more dangerous, and then people might actually die.

Just remember this when you speak with your Republican leaning friends and family who only care about how much they are going to be taxed. Carly pushed this agenda, but Cruz and Trump both are on board. This alone should be a reason to vote for Clinton or Sanders.

Don;t forget Mr. Nice Guy Kasich who snuck back to Ohio after the primary there to defund Planned Parenthood. The same Kasich who said women “came out of the kitchen” to vote for him

Find one Republican that disagrees with CMP, Trump, Cruz, Kasich or the rest. One. Good luck.

Sadly, if it’s anything like the religious right members of my extended family, they will say the data is all made up, or try to find way to justify the violence.

Yes, just like Jesus would have wanted, violence to beget violence..... <rolls eyes>

THIS SHIT is why it kills me when people who are generally pro-choice say that abortion isn’t a hot button issue to consider for the candidates right now “because abortion is already legal.” Between these fucking fake whackjobs and their videos and the TRAP laws increasing almost every day in a ton of states, legal and SAFE abortion for every woman REGARDLESS of income or resources is very much a hot button issue.

Seriously! I am middle class and can afford an abortion. I could even hypothetically afford the abortion of a wanted fetus after the 20 week mark due to fetal abnormalities because I have the means to travel and pay. But what if this happens http://www.texastribune.org/2016/04/03/aus...? Then what people? Then what if I am forced like this poor woman to be in premature labor/miscarriage for 4 freaking days with a wanted pregnancy??? Then what?????

You mean that creating a false narrative that women and their doctors are baby murderers has led to anti-abortion extremism and inciting violence?!

I know, it’s like that they just found a narative that reinforces their narrow, ass-backwards beliefs and used it as an excuse to act out in violence! Gawd, can’t they go back to the old ways and just do it privately in their own homes?

Well, the ‘protect women’ BS wasn’t working on anyone who wasn’t a brainwashed conservative woman. Sssoo they just switched to outright vilifying. Hate is always easier for their lot.

That is not shocking. Sketchy bearded white guys hung out at the Everett WA planned parenthood every day. I lived next door for two years. I used to take pictures of them, and post it to a blog about assholes outside Planned Parenthood.

I’ve always thought they were assholes, but watching them hassle and spill out complete hogwash was stunning. They were anti-birth control, and way pro-consequence to any woman that had sex.

After a while they would try to scream at me about taking photos on the public sidewalk. Which is what they often did of people using the service.

When I saw them, I took pictures, and then would walk in and donate five bucks to the Planned Parenthood directly. I could only do five bucks at a time, because I couldn’t afford more than what that accumulated to in a month. (Student) That really chapped their hides. Walking out, and telling them whenever I saw them, I’d donate more.

and way pro-consequence to any woman that had sex.

But not men. The only time a religious conservative will evoke ‘science’ is when they’re talking about a man’s permission to fuck around. Then suddenly ‘Well, men just need sex. We’re programmed to spread our seed.’

You just know so many women have turned them down. They’re so pissed anyone else is having sex, so they target women for ridicule because they see it as a way to stop us from banging men who aren’t them.

It never ceases to amazing me that they believe that if they close clinics then abortion will end. It won’t. All it will have done is forced women into dangerous situations as they seek illegal abortions. Abortions will still happen and women will be maimed or die.

Losing in the courts emboldens them.

Winning in the state legislatures emboldens them.

Having dispensed of the hand-wringing over what may or may not placate them (nothing), time for them to start losing in the state legislatures.

I find it very satisfying to contact candidates and leave an e-mail or voice-mail explaining the specific reason why I didn’t vote for them, just like I let candidates know exactly why I did vote for them. If these pricks get hundreds or even thousands of messages about the same issue, they may think twice. The problem is that anti-abortion folks are more likely to call their representative.
