    Ok, not to rain on the parade or anything, but can we PLEASE stop that being brave or successful or whatever “takes a lot of balls” or really anything else that implies it takes male genitalia to be brave or successful. It’s literally the other side of the coin of calling someone a pussy for being weak.

    I don’t hate Demi for saying this, I’m not really upset at her at all, I just think it’s something she probably hasn’t considered.

    So I’m really glad that we have GLAAD, and that they have awards, and yet sad that I think the only person named here that I can stand is Lilly Wachowski.

    On the up side, I do, at least, absolutely LOVE Lilly. An unabashed intellectual personally, and a classical romantic in her work, a wonderful combination of qualities. If I felt confident I could hold up my end of the conversation (eeehhh... 50/50), I’d like to spend an evening with her, à la My Dinner With Andre.

      My only beef with her and her sister is that they introduced "red pill" into the lexicon. I know it's not their fault that assholes misinterpreted it and ran with it, but maybe that wouldn't have been the case had they used pink or glitter pills. I don't know what I'm talking about.     I hope I don’t get flamed for this, but can someone please tell me what it is about Demi Levato that bugs me? She has some cute songs and she’s overcome a lot of adversity and personal demons, so I can’t understand why I’m not at least neutral to her. Every time I see or hear about her I just get a very visceral reaction and I feel like there is no reason. Am I just an asshole? I will say her reaction to the Zendaya barbie definitely put me in team “nope” for her, but she still bugged me before that.
