Yiannopoulos told BuzzFeed News that all uses of the n-word in PROJECT MILO were ironic. “A lot of these guys are young 4chan guys,” he said, referring to his interns. “They use it in the sense that message boards use it … It was the n-word with an -a, not with an -er — they were quoting hip-hop lyrics.”

.... why I am not the least bit surprised that Breitbart’s interns are avid 4chan users.

      Also, I know how 4channers use n/f, and it’s not to “quot[e] hip-hop lyrics.”

The guy is a complete smarmy privileged and self-centered upper class cunt of the highest order and I’m fucking glad he spends more time in the US rather than in the UK.

Just like Piers Morgan we’ve dumped him across the pond for you guys to deal with.

I refer to the upper-class part of it.

Our Chancellor of the Exchequer has zero economic or business qualifications. Thankfully for him all his friends, such as the Prime Minister, went to Oxford so got him both his parliamentary seat and cabinet position.

“Milo Yiannopoulos is not one person...That person does not exist. It is a collective consciousness of various different people who come and go.”

If true, this could prove the old idea that the more people there are the dumber they get.

      Counterpoint:

A large group’s aggregated answers to questions involving quantity estimation, general world knowledge, and spatial reasoning has generally been found to be as good as, and often better than, the answer given by any of the individuals within the group. An explanation for this phenomenon is that there is idiosyncratic noise associated with each individual judgment, and taking the average over a large number of responses will go some way toward canceling the effect of this noise.[1]

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisdom_of…

Although, this probably doesn’t apply to certain self-selecting groups, which concentrate and amplify certain veins of “idiosyncratric noise”.

When Greece went bankrupt, the American right wing finally had their holy grail - a European social democracy that went tits up because of the welfare state. They have spent the last two years beating the shit out of this dead horse and screaming “see? See what happens?” (while ignoring the existence of the rest of Europe.)

Of course initially most people dismissed these articles as more opportunism from American conservatives. So Breitbart invented this fake Greek dude to be their mouthpiece for these articles so that it would sound like it was coming from an insider and therefore he knows what he’s talking about.

This makes perfect sense as most far right conservatives I’ve ever encountered have only had a small fraction of a functioning mind. At best.

This it’s good to know that my hatred for Breitbart isn’t wasted. I’ve always felt it was too much for one or two people. I piss on ALL of them.

        My favorite part-

In the clip, the user “milo” warns the group not to use racial epithets because of the way it would look if the group chat became public: “Can’t believe I have to say this but no n-words in shitposting or anywhere else, thank you. Please THINK about how this could appear if leaked to the wrong person.”

Not because it’s wrong but because it will look bad. Yeah, but it’s liberals that are the “real” racists...
