      These trolls have been going at commenters and driving them to leave the site, regular commenter Sqarr has written about it and tried to help. Ignore them and eventually they will have to move on, they can’t hurt you if you can put up with their nastiness.

      Well, this guy has also repeatedly ignored court orders to leave them alone. He has shown disregard for the court and more passive punishment.

      And also that cop should absolutely get jail time. Moot point.

    Let’s be real. Peter Liang was only indicted because he wasn’t white. He got a lenient sentence because he shot a minority.

      He got indicted because he was careless and shot a completely innocent person rather than someone engaged in a crime. He got a lenient sentence because he’s a cop. Most cops who kill white people don’t receive any punishment either. DAs feel compelled to protect cops because they have to work so closely with them.

      He got a lenient sentence because Chinese people protested all over the city, and Ken Thompson figured he needed their vote more – he thinks he can throw Black people under the bus and still count on the Black vote.
