    Much as I hate to say anything in defense of Chris Christie, I must admit I do this too, but only at the movie theater. Like him, I am baffled why they package a bag of M&Ms inside a box (and I have complained to my husband about the wastefulness), but I pour them into the box because the box doesn’t make distracting crinkly sounds during the movie.

    That’s MY reasoning. Why Christie does it outside a movie theater is a mystery to me. I’m willing to believe his is more nefarious.

      When going to the movies, my friend will pick up a box of M&Ms from Target. Before the movie starts, my friend will pour half the bag into the box. I will get the half bag. Plus the fact neither of us are gorging on an entire package of candy. Calories add up Mr. Christie; or haven’t you noticed.

      Today I learned that theaters and arenas and such actually sell M&M’s and other candies in bags that are inside boxes. I’ve been smuggling my own candy into these places for so long, I’ve lost complete touch with the many ways they screw you on concessions.

    What I really want to hear about is whether he has popped his lap band. He lost weight at first but seems to have grown again. Not that eating a gigantic-ass bag of M&Ms has anything to do with it.

    Look, Christie is Reek now, and I’ll never forgive his betrayal in endorsing Trump. He sucks, bad. But for context, he’s friends with Boomer & Carton, and this is mostly shtick. They do this often, and usually argue about nonsensical stuff. Only saying this because 85% of your commentariat doesn’t leave its safe space, and might not be aware.
