  It is. I am really, really strong and it’s hard for me too. And I love the stuff so that’s very annoying.
  
  Try sticking it in the microwave for a minute or two (and then let cool obvs) first. Makes a big difference but doesn’t really cook it, so you still get the texture you want from the oven or whatever else you’re planning to do with it.

I know I have a bias*, but with car seat designs now they’re crazy easy to install correctly. I’m confused about that tweet.

* I was a car seat tech for a number of years and still have my hands on many car seats. They’re significantly easier to install than they were back in the day *shakes cane*

  I’m not sure I understand what you mean - a safety seat for the baby sounds identical to a car seat for me. Unless you’re talking about the infant car seats with the carrier portion that snaps in and out of a base, yeah, that’s two pieces that need to be used correctly.
  
  But really, with LATCH and the fact that she’s most likely using a high end seat she’s got all the ease of use features in her hands. But, I will concede that everything is new for first time parents and can be very confusing. But, it’s all explained in the manual.
  
  Give me two minutes to explain everything to her and she’ll feel a lot better :)

LATCH system car seats are pretty easy to install. Rear-facing seats that use a drop-in seat (e.g. Chicco KeyFit) are easy with a belt, too. Nothing sucks like installing a front-facing seat without LATCH, though.

But WTF is Chrissy doing trying to install a car seat when she’s due? That’s her husband’s job right now, goddammit.

  I think both parents should learn how to install is properly. I also had a Chicco Keyfit. I got it because at the time (10 years ago) it was considered by far the easiest to install. Even my rather clueless mom was able to figure out how to install the base correctly.
