The book people don’t know anymore. The show has had to go completely off book for this season. Very interesting shift.

I mean, did you watch Joffrey die? I’d expect something at least as satisfying for Ramsay.

I can’t wait until the last scene of episode one where Daenerys pulls off her mask and reveals she was Jon Snow the whole time.

I love Game of Thrones but after last season and these trailers I’m having a hard time getting it up for season 6.

I dropped out halfway through last season because I just could not take all of the freaking rape anymore, the Sansa storyline was a bridge too far for me. I don’t know if I’ll pick it back up this season, I’m a little curious just because they’re all caught up with the books now so we’re in totally uncharted territory.

I’m giving them a pass on last season because every show is going to have one season that’s it’s weak link. Season 5 was definitely it for GOT. I’m willing to give 6 a chance though.

Well either that or her husband has to “go gay.”

I really wish she hadn’t revealed that rather homophobic bit of idiocy. I had quite liked her until then.

Do people agree that the voiceover (you’re in the great game now, etc.) is Tyrion? And if so, to whom is he speaking? The timing of the voiceover with the cuts is made to feel like he’s speaking to Sansa, though of course there’s no way the two of them are anywhere near each other. I suppose it must be Missandei, or Jorah the Explorer.

Could it be later in the season, when Dany is back, and he’s talking to her? I think Dany is ready to (finally) make a big move, once she’s free of the Dothraki. And that freedom break is gonna be awesome, says the shadow of a big ol’ Drogo :D

BTW, I also think it sounds like Tyrion, but others have speculated that it’s Littlefinger (mainly because it appears directed at Sansa). Food for thought.

It does actually sound a bit like something Littlefinger said to her last season, though I still contend that that’s Tyrion’s voice in the trailer.

I think this is the second article posted on Jez saying that just because he’s not shown, or shown as dead, that means he’s dead forever and out of the story. But it’s pretty widely accepted fan theory that he’ll be brought back to life by Melisandre because he’s actually Azor Ahai, who she’s been mistaking Stannis for this entire time. He’s also most likely half Targaeryn, and wayyyy too important to the entire story to just be really dead. Yes, the show could do that, but I don’t think there’s any real chance of it.

That’s the big reason I keep looking for it too—also supported by the whole thing about W&B being hired based on their answer to the question “who is John Snow’s mother?” If that was all soooooo important, they’ve built him up all this way just to kill him like it’s nothing, I’m flipping the table on this series. He could just go hang out with Walt from Lost and talk about how special they were both supposed to be.

I will always love Lost but the Walt thing stands out as the dumbest ‘mystery’ of all.

Honestly I am just pissed off the George RR Martin has let the series catch up to the books and is now allowing it to surpass the books. He spent so much of his time farting about not writing his books that his fans have completely lost patience with him.

Oh, and there’s no sign of Jon Snow. The ambiguity of his status will without a doubt plague us until the last possible moment.

Maybe since every single article written by nearly anyone about GoT teasers and trailers always devolves into a Zapruder film-esque analysis of whether Jon Snow is coming back, HBO decided that they would just not put anything in there about it one way or the other from now one.

These people really really want to make us believe Jon Snow is not coming back—and they hate the meta-analysis that occurs whenever people look at the real life goings on with the show (who is contracted, where the actors were spotted, whether someone cut their hair a certain way, so on) to try to figure out what’s going to happen with the show. With that in mind, taking any of the teasers or trailers at face value is absurd.

Are there any female characters left to torture/rape or are they going to have to add some new people as they rape through the season?
