      Not banned, no. But it’s not especially common. I can’t think of any Theodores in my family’s rather large congregation... on the other hand, supposedly the first name you see when you go to the Jewish section of London’s Highgate Cemetery is ‘Christian Cohen,’ so who knows?

      I just thought it was amusing considering how Trump’s been playing up the Jewish angle.

      tbqh I can’t really hate on someone for that... Many women keep their maiden names to retain the professional visibility they’ve built up before marriage, or even because they want to keep that sense of independence.
