There are a lot of interesting variables in this election. Women, black people (yay us!) and youth/first time voters seem like they’re going to be deciding a lot.

On another note, Bernie’s doing well in the primaries today, taking Washington and Alaska so far (Washington was big). Woo! (Apologies if you’re not a Bernie supporter).

I guess that Donald’s support of Planned Parenthood is not enough to persuade women to vote for him. Poor Donald, he just can’t convert his deep love of women into votes.

Trump sounds like a nightmare boss and his female employees sound like they have Stockholm Syndrome:

After she joined Donald Trump’s real estate business, Louise Sunshine struggled to maintain a steady weight while managing her new career alongside the busy schedules of three young children.

Trump must have noticed, Sunshine said. She recalled that he kept an unflattering photograph of her in a drawer — a “fat picture,” as she called it — that he would pull out when she did something he didn’t like.

      And:

Res said Trump was “brave” to hire her when few women were in the business. But like many men of the era, she said, “he was sexist; he made comments and stuff like that.”

      Actually if we’re being honest:

Gawker has largely been for Bernie and Jez has been in the bag for Hillary.

In this case, flipping it to Trump Loves Women makes more sense. They didn’t choose to be executives (in a way), he did.

    Either way, both are lies.

I can take one Yank in my basement if y’all wanna flood our (Canadian) border once shitngets way outta control. But only room for 1 (one) and maybe a small pet.

Out of all the Republican candidates, Trump is the best (least bad) one for women.

Until they vote for him, at which point they will have outlived their usefulness to him and the con. Then you’ll see how “good” he’ll be for women.

And yet...he’d still be better for women’s reproductive rights than Ted Cruz.

Right now, the contest is between Trump and Cruz. Not Trump and Hillary. Not Trump and Sanders. And in that contest, I’d rather have “Who knows what the fuck Trump would do as president?” than the “We know exactly what Ted Cruz will try to do as president, because he’s sworn an oath of fealty to his Church that he thinks has priority over the Constitution, the courts, and the law; and to the Kochs.”

In the primary contest between the Kochs, and Donald Trump who has declared himself their enemy, I want to see the Kochs fail as miserably as possible. Cruz belongs to the Kochs. I also want to see the Republican party decimate itself when they try to take the nomination away from Trump on behalf of their Koch masters. Trumps voters are the Republican base, and without them, the Republicans can’t win the Presidency or congressional offices.

The Republican establishment has not been the least bit shy about taking the nomination away from Trump, by any means necessary. I think they would rather have a presidential candidate that is symbiotic with their congressional efforts, and lose the presidency. The way I see it, no matter what the Republican party does, they’re screwed. They created the Trump monster, who is only elucidating their policies in terms everyone can easily understand.

Trump is the Republican Party in a nutshell. Pure. Uncompromised. Uncompromising (but more compromising than an actual Republican). All about who he would oppress. The only real difference between him and Cruz is that Cruz hides his true intentions (unless you look at his past speeches and actual record).

This isn’t a pro-Trump post. He’s a monster. Ted Cruz is a worse monster. Both would be horrible for this country. Just as the Republican Congress is horrible for this country. I want Trump to win the primary, because the Republicans can’t help themselves in tearing apart their own party to defeat him. And Trump on the ticket, will motivate more people to show up to vote against him, and incidentally any other Republican on the ballot running for any office.

This guy can’t let a Single. Thing. Go. WTF would he do as president, when he’s getting attacked from all sides, all day, all night? Thin-skinned doesn’t even begin to describe this clown.
