  O.K., I’ll bite. I read that entire thing through, and I couldn’t parse it, although I saw The Imitation Game last year. The redacting made it impossible to grasp for me. What is believed that this is indicating? Is the take-away here that Ted Cruz beat his wife? That his wife is mentally ill? More data, please!

I think a more relevant question is: What is Drumpf afraid of? His wife looks attractive in those pictures, all of her lady bits are actually covered, and this photo is definitely in the public record. Did he imagine that everyone’s memories are super-short? Has he been fooled by his followers’ blind willingness to forget his about-face on lots of different policy positions into thinking that everyone also forgets that his wife posed nude for G.Q.? Why would Drumpf care? He’s gotten away with much, much worse, much less presidential stuff in this campaign. It’s a fascinating question.

The only answer I’ve come up with on short speculation is that The Donald really feels that Melania could be a liability to him, and he can’t afford a divorce and to run for President at the same time! Crocodile tears for The Donald!

  Eh, I despise him as much as anyone but I think that ad is a genuinely low blow. And most politicians would think so. I laughed at the same exact picture when it was Scott Brown but it was still not a super classy way to attack him.
  
  It’s in the public record, sure. But what they are using it to suggest is shitty (that the First Lady would be morally impure and undeserving).

  Oh, Good Grief. I know Ted Cruz is an awful, awful person who should not be the nominee, let alone the President, but this is low even for Drumpf. What woman has not gotten really depressed when she’s snatched away from a job she has worked all of her life towards and forced to leave D.C. to move to Texas and take a shit job with some damn investment house?
  
  What strong woman with a dominant, high-powered husband hasn’t walked away from their house on a sad, confusing night and just sat, with her head in her hands, and wondered where everything went wrong? If the is what The Donald is threatening to reveal, he’s going to find that this will backfire with the women voters he’ll now be increasingly forced to deal with. Ooooh! So very low.
